Norman and Karen Geiger, a husband and wife team share their passion for jewelry metalsmithing and lapidary. Although the couple’s styles are both unique, they both continue to be inspired by the natural world around them in their designs. Their love of sealife and the southwest are depicted in their pieces.

The Geiger’s started rock hounding and lapidary work over twenty years ago. The jewelry making evolved as the next step to use their special finds.

Both Geigers use traditional styles of casting and fabrication methods. After they have polished their stones, the sawing, filing and polishing of the metal takes place to slowly transform the piece into a wearable art object.
