Arvid Anderson works in multi media including sculpture, but specializes in monotypes.  He considers himself an experimentalist  and uses various methods and materials to create each unique image using etching inks and a press.  He favors strong colors and landscapes influenced by the marine atmosphere of Western Washington and the dry scapes of Eastern Washington.  His wooden masks incorporate natural materials with themes indigenous to the Northwest.  Arvid has his studio on Fox Island.
