Therefore this artist, Carol Ann Johnson, utilizes Pen & Ink, Acrylic Painting, Watercolor, Colored Pencil, Pastels, Silk Dyeing, Printmaking, Illustration, and combinations of all the above to create a unique vision in portraiture, landscape, and still life.
In addition the artist is a computer graphics expert, applying her aesthetic & knowledge to webdesign and layout projects for clients.

Born and raised on the East Coast, receiving her BFA in Printmaking from Syracuse University, the artist lived and worked in Hawaii for 25 years. In 1996 she moved to Gig Harbor Washington, joining the art community here enthusiastically !
Collected by patrons all over the world, the artist continues to explore new mediums and expand her broad repertiore of Graphic Arts.

Carol Ann Johnson is also a well published, in print, childrens Book Illustrator for Barnaby Books, which she helped establish in '81 .
" The Magic Shark Learns to Cook " is her most recent of her 6 childrens' books.

| Natural images, realistic landscape, fine still life, and portraiture are her primary subjects. In her studio and home setting the artist brings together the experience of over 40 years as a professional Graphic Artist in Hawaii and Washington. |
