Jewelry making for me is an adventure. I continually work on technique; to keep my work evolving and fresh by taking classes, improving skills and introducing new media. Most recently I am focusing on the use of found objects often combining them with metalwork, recycled tin, resin, felt and wire. No process or material is “safe.”
I enjoy challenging the principles of “traditional” jewelry. Imagination is in challenging new skills and techniques. It is all part of a process of sculpting pieces of “our” lives into unique personal embellishments rich in texture, color and symbolism.
