My first glass class in 2000 " Beginning glass bead by Larry Brickman," lit my own Personal torch to glass. From that point on in my life, I have wanted to be more involved with glass. This led to several other classes in lampworking with nationally known artists at Pratt Fine Arts and other venues and then continued into glass fusing and glass blowing. To add another media to my life, the art of jewelry making, metalsmithing and wire working became a part of my art.

My studio is set up for lampwork glass beads, glass fusing, and jewelry / metalsmithing and includes three kilns. One is a large kiln for fusing, one is used for the annealing / fusing glass beads and of course I use my original small portable kiln if I leave my studio for any period of time. The studio also has three types of torches. One is a minor bench burner for small beads / marbles and the other two includs a major burner for sculpture, blowing goblets and ornaments.
