Doug Fillbach established Design Tech Art Glass in 1978.Located on Raft Island in the Gig Harbor area,Design Tech has become one of the Northwest ’s premier studios.The artist has been commissioned to create work for corporations,churches and private residences in Washington,Oregon,California,Colorado,Ohio,and Florida.His work has been featured in MAME and REX award winning homes,and published in Stained Glass Magazine, Luxury Homes,Better Homes and Gardens,Yacht Design,and Showboats International .
Doug Fillbach has spent 30 years studying and refining his art,developing a distinctive style that is marked by uncompromised quality.Specializing in multi-media sculpture,architectural leaded and beveled glass,sandblasted and carved glass,Doug is known for combining architectural design elements with classic symmetry that imbues his art with fluidity and motion. His sense of timeless design and technical precision has landed him a diverse list of commercial, public,and private clients.
