I have always been fascinated with the lore of sea and sail which motivated me to become a marine artist.  After studying at the San Francisco Academy of Art I opened my own studio gallery along San Francisco waterfront in 1980.  It soon became a local landmark for marine enthusiasts.  Numerous commissions included work for the US Navy, the City of San Francisco, Port of San Francisco, San Francisco Fire Department and the Oakland Fire Department.  Since moving to Gig Harbor in 1993 my love of marine art continues and now I work at capturing the beauty of this maritime community.
