Ever on the lookout for painting opportunities, I came to the realization that I see everything around me with a “painter’s eye”. This means that whatever I see automatically begs the question, “How best to paint that scene, or this still life, or that model.”
What usually pulls me in is the light and how it affects my subjects. And since I've been creative in many different ways all my life (which can sometimes be a problem - so many ways, so little time!), it is a never-ending pursuit which means that I will never retire.
I so enjoy talking to people about my work and am looking forward to once again sharing it during the Gig Harbor Open Studio Tour. Welcome!
