His artwork is done with drafting technical pens using India ink. The drawing technique is called stippling where the artist applies tone and texture in small dots and scratches.
The depth of tone can be adjusted by varying the density and distribution of the dots.
The work is done on Bristol board which takes the ink without bleeding and leaves a crisp definition in the ink line giving the work an extreme detailed appearance.
It is difficult to calculate how many hours an art piece might take and depends on the size and detail. |
