I am the Executive Director of the YWCA Pierce County. My focus on jewelry design began in 1972 when I took my first jewelry class in high school. I create jewelry, weave and knit because it feds my soul and keeps me whole.
For 12 years, I made my living designing and weaving garments for women and children. In 1987, I stepped into the world of nonprofit management as the Executive Director of Allied Arts of Whatcom County. For 8 years I served on the Washington State Arts Commission. I continue to bring the arts to all that I do, currently teaching jewelry to women seeking safety at the YWCA Domestic Violence Shelter.
