Nancy began glass fusing in 1999, taking an introductory class at a local art center in Tacoma, WA. That was all it took to ignite the spark of glass addiction. Since then she has followed up with classes in numerous techniques and processes, putting her own spin on the material taught.
Nancy works mainly with transparent and irridescent glasses and tends toward Asian influenced pieces and abstract glass work. She is drawn to Asian because of the simplicity and clean lines. The abstract side is the creation of pieces she can title, but allowing everyone, using their life experiences, to see something else.
