A Montana native, I received my degree in Art from Montana State University that included studies abroad in Italy and holland. I spent the next 20 years drawing from the figure and experimenting with mixed media printmaking techniques, while raising my family.

Desiring a more colorful and painterly approach, I shifted my focus to landscapes in soft pastel. This led to a contract for fine art reproductions on the worldwide market, and features in The Pastel journal and Pastel Artist International magazines. Working in my studio on Horseshoe lake has deepened my interest in water and reflections, a favorite subject. i plan to be painting passionately into my 90's.
