ART BY PAT ROSENTHAL "I cant draw or play a musical instrument, but I still get to feel like a talented artist through fiber art."
Her studio is a shared family room where she creates small doll pins, fabric bowls, pillow covers, fabric covered origami gift boxes and other small fabric treasures using supplies from her quilt/fabric stash. When Pat is not home creating her version of a quilt she is likely on vacation with her husband of 34 years. She has visited many exotic places described in National Geographic such as Machu Pichu, Vanuatu, and the great pyramids of Egypt to name a few destinations. Pats most recent involvement in quilting has combined her sewing skills and her commitment to make this world a better place. Four years ago she helped start a successful quilt auction in Gig Harbor, Washington to benefit breast cancer research and breast cancer survivors. Pat raised nearly 20% of the first $60,000 the auction raised..
