ART BY PHILIP BOULDING

Harp Builder

"A harp builder/musician/composer

who strives for harmony

in harp, mind, and spirit."

In 1972 I embarked upon my journey as a musician, composer, instrument builder and teacher. Inspired by a vision of the Celtic harp in 1975, I traveled to Ireland to immerse myself in its lore and music.

Today the harp is central to everything I do; I have built over 2,000 to date, and my artist-wife Pam (with whom I have toured world-wide as Magical Strings on harp and hammered dulcimer) has helped me with designs, all of which are based on archetypal forms from the Celtic lands.

Come to our beautiful studio on Magic Hill to see and hear for yourself!
