Stone calls to be touched. Stone sculpture is a hands on medium both for the sculptor and the viewer. Sharon loves the literal earthiness of this art. She lives in a natural rural setting which acts as a muse to reveal the animal or figure within the stone. Sharon is honored when one of her sculptures evokes a visceral response in the viewer which may be meaningful or just joy.
